- somewhere in the above is not only blogging but also teaching a friend to drive on the left and a stick shift - what fun!
April - speedy recovery from radiofrequency ablation, my birthday, at least one party then 20th under the knife again for my myomectomy (out of hospital on 24th) and immobile including no driving until early June - it's a good job I'm front loading my social life although I hope I will be visited during recuperation to experience my best wincing and to lavish TLC upon.
June/July/August/September - buy flat in Krakow over hopefully just a few weekends, going out there with friends, and otherwise spend a lot of time lying on the grass watching the clouds trundle past blue skies, going on walks and making summer desserts to enjoy with friends on the patio. Oh and I nearly forgot - fall madly, deeply, passionately in love!
So how do I fit in my creative projects? I think the answer is I don't try (at least until after summer). My dose of exercise will have to come from dancing at parties. Damn and I wanted to squeeze in the experience of speed dating too. Well you can only do these things while single and I'm definitely making the most of being young, free and single!
If I have any holiday left (after buying a Krakow flat) I quite fancy combining a course in running a successful guest house in Vancouver with a cruise to Alaska, seeing a renowned faith healer in Budapeszt tied in with visiting the lovely KK there for a weekend and finally New York for Xmas.
Starting to plan even further ahead now. March for Argentinian trip then either Vancouver/Alaska in May (if not this year) or Burning Man in August. I really do believe that in a few years I will settle down in part of the world I find I really like and have a family (certainly get off the corporate ladder, leave salary slavery and become a writer and/or do a job which I feel contributes to society like counselling), so feel like now while single and an IT wage slave it is the time for my big far-flung costly adventures.
Eek - think I just planned the next decade!
