Andrew's strange approach to preparing for a house move

In addition to decluttering with the help of ebay for our impending move to Bournemouth, Andrew has been involved in hours of computer based work preparing the move. No, not researching where to live but ripping CDs we own. Mine proved difficult to index due to my weird finds and he's horrified I own soundtrack of the waves. He's now transferring his record collection to mini disc to then transfer them to the computer. Music loving geeks are us!

Bruce had us elated with news that Bournemouth was chosen to have hispeed Broadband via fibre in the sewers -

So many great reasons to move to Bournemouth. I don't want to count my chickens but seems that after two price drops we have sold our house in Thatcham and also finally after much looking coated with despair, we have found a tasty red brick 4 bed detached pile in Southbourne just over half a mile from the sea. Hopefully Bracknell house will find its buyer soon.

It is something we always planned to do but Vodafone's antics and job cuts have forced it to happen sooner. It is definitely for the best and once we settle in and the renovations have been done on the house we'll have a very different and improved happier lifestyle with less expenses to worry about. In a few years time I'll be able to do my writing and play around with some business ideas I have. It really is very exciting and the stress means I am getting back to a size 10 which is the silver lining.

Shock horror revelation - never get your neighbour a job

Robin who I lived next to in Bracknell has become a close friend. When he went full-time with his photography business I recommended work use him for business portraits. And so they did this week. I met him coming out of the lift with Tara in PR. "Oh hello" he said "You look so different in your business clothes." He then turned to Tara and reveals "I normally see her in her dressing gown!!!"

I wanted the ground to open up and swallow me. It is sadly true that Robin has seen me more than once in my DG. I wake up and gravitate to the laptop. Start work and that's it until fainting with hunger I peel myself off it and get something to eat. By then it is mid afternoon and there seems little point getting dressed.
